General lighting areas are natural places to use CERTIFIED LED lamps to replace fluorescents. With their light output matching fluorescent on a watt per watt basis and color consistency that is unmatched in the trade, it is common for users to be able to consume one half the energy and maintain light levels and quality recommended per National and State codes. The life of LED tubes is unaffected by switching frequency and, again, the projected life of LED tubes allows for maintenance schedules to be extended by a factor of four over that of fluorescent systems.
